Derwentside Trust (Glenroyd House) is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, established in November 2014. We are guided by a voluntary management board, elected by our members, and we gained charity status in January 2015.

Our mission is to provide the local community with access to vital services, support, and opportunities for personal growth — all under one roof. At Glenroyd House, people can:

• Receive professional advice and guidance

• Access essential services such as our Community Pantry, Contraceptive and Sexual Health Clinic, and Counselling

• Find support in key areas including mental health, debt management, and wellbeing

• Use the centre for personal development, learning, and community activities

We are proud to be a welcoming and supportive hub where individuals can find help, connect with local services, and take positive steps toward a brighter future.
