Charity Gala 2026
The Glenroyd House and Grey Horse Charity Gala is an exciting evening of community, compassion and celebration, taking place on Saturday 31 October 2026 at Derwent Manor Hotel. Guests will enjoy a hot fork buffet, formal entertainment and live music from JD & The Woodsmen, performing funk, soul, rock and roll. There will also be a charity raffle, giving everyone the opportunity to have fun while supporting a valuable local cause.
We are raising money to help keep Glenroyd House open and able to provide essential services for local people. Glenroyd House is a large community facility with significant running costs, including energy bills, repairs, maintenance, insurance and staffing. As these costs continue to rise, fundraising is vital to protect the services our community depends on.
Funds raised will help support the community café, pantry, warm spaces, fitness facilities, activities, advice, support groups, Christmas events and school holiday meals and activities for local children and families. Donations will also help us improve the building, reduce energy costs and make Glenroyd House more sustainable for the future.
By attending the gala, purchasing a ticket, donating or becoming a sponsor, you will help us continue bringing people together, reducing isolation and supporting those facing hardship. Together, we can keep Glenroyd House at the heart of the community and make a lasting difference.

We are asking for donations and raffle prizes to help make the event a success and raise vital funds for Glenroyd House. Donations of gift vouchers, hampers, event tickets, experiences, products, services, treatments or cash would be greatly appreciated, no matter how small.
Every contribution will help support Glenroyd House and the valuable services it provides across our community. Donating businesses will be thanked and acknowledged through event promotions and, wherever possible, during the gala itself.
